Sound travels approximately 0.6 meters per second faster for every degree Celsius increase.
Humidity’s Impact on Sound Absorption
High humidity, a common byproduct of a dense crowd, means more water vapor in the air. This water vapor acts as an absorbent, particularly for higher frequencies (treble).
